Rights and Obligations of the Certification Body
The certification body has the right to conduct certification in accordance with the scope of accreditation and issue certificates of conformity upon positive results; refuse to issue certificates in case of non-compliance; conduct inspection control; suspend, resume, or cancel issued certificates; and exercise other rights in accordance with legislation.The certification body is obliged to comply with the rules of the National Certification System of the Republic of Uzbekistan; provide information to applicants; notify applicants about refusal or cancellation decisions; register certificates in the official register; and verify facts in appeals received from consumers, individual entrepreneurs, legal entities, and public authorities.Main duties of the certification body:

Comply with the rules and regulatory acts of the National Certification System of Uzbekistan

Provide applicants with complete information regarding certification procedures

Notify applicants of decisions regarding the refusal to issue certificates of conformity

Inform certificate holders about decisions to suspend, resume, or cancel certificates
- 5
Register certificates of conformity in the State Register in the prescribed manner

Examine facts presented in appeals from consumers and legal entities to determine inspection needs
The activities of the certification body are based on the principles of independence, objectivity, and impartiality.
